We have arrived Safely

By God’s great mercy we arrived into the Newwark airport safely. We had an early morning starting at 4AM. We are so thankful to my parents who agreed to drive us to the airport. They had to get up earlier than us.

Josh was ready to go to a york (New York) at 4:30AM.

We were also really blessed by Marilyn, Jamie, and Marcia who came to the airport to see us off, pray with us, and stay nearby until we passed through security in case something needed doing, they were there to support us at 5AM!! (They looked really good doing it too!)

Our direct flight of 3 hours was just about the right amount of time for Josh to be content while in a car seat. He had a few moments, but did really well especially for his 1st flight. We all had to figure out how to handle the takeoff and landing pressure changes and he did fine.

Josh loved looking at the planes before we left. He asked often if the plane was big. He thought they were huge. Sarah from Jews for Jesus (JFJ) picked us up and helped us with bags. By the time we got to the JFJ building Josh was…

We took our luggage up to the 7th floor (number of perfection). The floor is beautiful. I will post more about the accommodations later.

(Todd in the common living area) Josh is really excited about his bed. It its the biggest one he has ever slept in.

We had lunch and it was time for a rest.

After naptime we went to a store to get milk and a few things. We got caught in a downpour. We were totally drenched by the time we returned. I couldn’t help thinking how our friends back in Tulsa had 104 degrees and we enjoyed a mild day with a cleansing rain.

We arrived back in time to change and meet the main leadership staff for campaign. We all had dinner and now after showers it is time to really rest. My goal is to get you updates about once a week even if they are short. I hope I can do that at  least.

Thank you to those who are praying. Tomorrow starts with breakfast and then much preparation for the campaigners who come later this week.
